As we age, especially if we have had children, our breast tissue can see many changes, going from firm to floppy, and often hanging quite a bit lower than they did when we were young. Some of us see these changes as an inevitable part of growing older; others want to stave off the ravages of time as long as possible.
In addition to firming exercises, yoga and practising good posture; we have come across some unique ‘natural’ home remedies you can try to enhance firmness and growth of breast tissue. Let us know how you go!!

Massage with olive oil:

Massaging your breasts with olive oil is an excellent technique to firm sagging breasts. Olive oil is a rich source of antioxidants and fatty acids that can reverse the damage caused by free radicals and prevent sagging breasts. Plus, it will help improve the skin tone and texture. The massage helps drawing blood to the surface of the skin, increase blood flow as well as stimulate cell repair.

  • Put some olive oil onto your palms and rub them together to generate heat.
  • Rub your palms over your breasts in an upward motion.
  • Massage gently for about 15 minutes to increase blood flow and stimulate cell repair.
  • Follow this remedy at least 2 to 3 times per week.

Ice Massage:

Some people might not be aware but ice massaging is really very effective to gift you a firm and well-shaped breast. Ice helps in uplifting your breast and eradicates the sagging nature in it. You need to take around two ice cubes which should be rubbed in a circular moment around your breast. It is recommended to do this for maximum a minute and not more than that as the skin and muscle around your breast are very sensitive. This will help tighten and tone the skin of your breasts as cold temperatures naturally tighten up skin and slow cellular movement. This is a good technique when combined with immediately putting on a properly fitting bra and then staying in some sort of reclined position to allow the effects of the cold to sink in, thereby increasing the effects.

Breast Mask:

Like facial masks, breast masks can help firm the skin in and around the breast region. You can use these breast masks at least once in a week for desirable results. A popular choice is to use cucumber and egg yolk. Cucumber has natural skin-toning properties and egg yolk has high levels of protein and vitamins that can help treat sagging breasts.

  • Puree 1 small cucumber in a blender.
  • Mix in 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of butter or cream to get a paste.
  • Apply it onto your breasts and leave it on for about 30 minutes.
  • Wash it off thoroughly with cold water.
  • Use this mask once a week to firm and strengthen the breast tissues.

Essential oils:

Carrot oil, cypress oil, fennel oil, lemongrass oil, and spearmint oil are some of the essential oils which can also help or be used to increase the firmness of sagging breasts. Do not use more than 2 drops every time you massage the breast as they are very strong and can cause a burning sensation. It would be best to use them in a mixture along with other vegetable oils.
